(1) According to the instructions of the Chairman, the member secretary shall call the meeting of the Council by specifying the date, time and place.
(2) The meeting of the council shall be presided over by the chairman and in the absence of the chairman by the vice chairman. In the absence of both the chairman and the vice-chairman, a member chosen by the members from among themselves will preside over the meeting.
(3) Notice of the meeting should be given usually one month in advance.
(4) If fifty percent of the total number of members of the Council are present, the quorum for the meeting of the Council shall be deemed to have been reached.
(5) The opinion of the majority in the meeting shall be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding shall have the casting vote.
(6) The meeting of the Council shall normally be held twice a year. The chairman can call more meetings if he deems it necessary.
(7) The member-secretary will keep the decision book of the meeting.
(8) Allowances and other benefits that the members will get for participating in the meeting will be as specified (9) Apart from what is written in this section, other procedures of the meeting shall be as prescribed.
